A Letter For Mr. Dixon

Dear Dad,

I must thank you for lending your wife to me all weekend long - especially yesterday, since you willingly celebrated thirty years of marriage side by side with your son, instead of your lovely wife, while she was here doing my dishes for me and taking my wriggly son during sunday school and relief society (should I emphasize the word relief?) all to repair my wellbeing.
-

She is the best mom. And you are the best dad. And you are both such a strong example of dedication and love in marriage (eternal marriage). Thank you for that. You are all that is kind and steady, and those are the perfect characteristics to find in a father, and a husband, too.

-
I miss you and wish you were here, and will be sending a box of toffee popcorn home with mom all for you. (And no, you don't have to share.)
-

I love you dad.
Happy Thirtieth Anniversary!
(Yesterday.)
-
-
Love, your eldest.
