DIY Valentine's Feather Heart Wreath

Here's what you'll need
-------------------------
A heart wreath base (plastic or foam).
A red feather boa (JoAnn's is the least expensive).
Floral wire
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bought this wreath at Walmart yesterday for $5.00. Our town's Joann's did not have a heart foam wreath base, so I went with the already decorated, plastic one from walmart...(slightly obnoxious and all).

I purchased an 8 foot red feather boa from Joann's. It was $7.99 regularly priced.
I used my 40% off coupon. So it was...under $5.00? (I don't do math. Ask Jared.)

You will need scissors and Bright Wire/Floral Wire -- you can purchase this in the floral section of Walmart, as well.

The plastic tinsel wreath I bought at Walmart had tinsel laced and hooked onto the plastic wreath base. I was able to unhook it without cutting it at all and will probably use the strand to decorate our Valentine's dinner table or something of the like.

I made my wreath last night and didn't take pictures of the process, so I don't have a way of showing you the next step. Here's the description on how to put it all together:

Line up the feather boa with the wreath base and tie the floral wire in several spots. Because you are working with feather, after the wires are tied, you'll be able to situate the feathers to where you won't be able to see the wire at all. You could also use hot glue, if you prefer.

And here she is.....

{The End}

Have a loving sort of day.

PS

Sort of wishing I had made this heart felt wreath instead....soo sooo sooooo cute. Check it out here:
