Afternoon.

Yesterday, when I was lonesome for summer, I went shuffling through old photos from warmer months gone by. This one was taken on a perfect afternoon in May.

Morgan and I were anxious for our daddy to come home from work, so we went and sat on the front lawn to wait for him.

When Jared finally came, this is the face that greeted him. And those tiny hands were there to pat his face and tug on his silk tie.
