harvested.

Last night, we harvested our pumpkins!!! As we went through and picked them, I was squealing with delight! Silly, I know. But, alas, I think pumpkins are the cutest vegetable ever. And if you remember this post back in May, you know that this is the first year we've ever grew anything of our own. With the weather colder these days, we had to bundle up and Morgan's nose turned the color of Rudolph's, but my favorite part of the evening was watching Jared carry the biggest pumpkin (the right side of the picture) up the tier stairs from where our garden is located and out to the front yard. I laughed so hard I almost...well, you know. I even tried taking a picture, but he told me he'd throw my camera in the field behind our house and I knew he was serious. So, that ended that idea quickly.
