secondly, i believe that paying tithing brings me (and you) blessings. so, pay your tithing. you'll be blessed.
{other blessings that may or may not be related to paying tithing}
-me trying on ONE PAIR OF JEANS to find out THEY FIT. halleluah! i mean, one. pair. i tried on one single pair. and just like that, they fit. and let me tell you, that has never happened.
-finding a big fancy bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance at Costco for $45.00 (less than half of what it costs at Macy's). furthermore, convincing the master (also known as my husband) that i needed it, and i needed him to pay for it. he, like a gentleman, conceded. and now i smell lovely as ever!
-discovering tonight that joann's so graciously gifted their in-store shoppers a 50% coupon which was quickly used on something pretty to go above another something pretty which shall be revealed to you at a later date.
-----------
things that i'm loving right this moment: all things pretty. autumn. my growing baby boy. my husband. i love when my husband comes home from work. i love when he makes me laugh. i love watching funny things with him and i love that we always laugh at the same parts.

some anniversary dates I didn't blog about:
::::one year ago, on september 19th, i shot a fairly substantial four-by-four buck, and i shot him seventeen, or so, times, shooting out both back legs with one shot. i dare you to try that sometime. Oooo-eeee. so, it was my first buck. so, i'm not that great of an aim. so, i was eight months pregnant. it happened. one year ago.
(the one inch of belly showing below my shirt line adds a nice touch of red-neckedness, wouldn't you agree?)
::::four years ago on september 23rd (also jared's birthday), he gave me a sparkly diamond ring. the next day, i wore a pink sweater that matched my blushing cheeks, and we kissed a lot more than we did the day before. oh, those days!
::::also, one year ago on september 23rd, jared told our camcorder that he guessed morgan's date of birth would be november 3rd (keep in mind that my ultrasound due date was october 19th). if you would have told me that i would go that far past that date, i would have died right then and there. and i'm not even kidding.
so, guess what day morgan arrived?
oh yes, 11-3-08.
on september 25th, 2008, I looked like this:

what do you remember about last autumn?
where were you?
what did you look like?
what did you do?
have you scored any good deals lately? tell me!
what are you loving?
what are you hoping for?
my hope: that you are swell, darling.
so swell.
good night.
LOVED this cute little random post... it made me giggle, because this is the way my thoughts function 99% of the time! :)
ReplyDeleteLast autumn, I was dressing up my two beautiful children in warm bundles of clothing, picking out sweet little halloween costumes and making them sit through very boring, (but fun to me), photo shoots in the vibrant leaves in back of our house.
I'm a deal-aholic! You may want to check out this website... http://www.1saleaday.com/
it was where my last great deal came from! :) It was part of my early Christmas shopping... which hopefully I'll get done before the end of this month!
I am loving so many things right now, the crisp breeze in the air, delicious fall aromas, smells like pumpkin, cinnamon, apples, and nutmeg.
I am hoping for our house to come together quickly and as beautifully as I have it pictured up in my head... YIKES! I'm not very good at envisioning, so hopefully it will all work out!
PS I too have a great testimony of tithing... you know I could go on and on... I'm a talker you know!
Have a beautiful day!
