Love list.
Things that I'm loving lately:
My new pajamas. They are so snuggly to climb into at night, after the kids have gone to bed. I think I will make it an autumn tradition to buy myself a new pair. Our favorite cold-weather thing to do together is watch tv at night. Not very creative, I know. But Mr. Keller sits on the end and I lay across the couch, with my head in his lap. We watch Jon Stewart faithfully and anything else that DVR'ed through the day. I love this time of day. During the busy summer months, I wish for the slower ones that follow. And here we are. It's nice.
My new candlewarmer. I have to admit I have just recently, (as in within the last two weeks), jumped on the Scentsy bandwagon. I always told myself I had much better things to spend my money on than overpriced candles. Well, finally, after seeing Walmart start selling a different brand of warmer, I bought one and then ordered Scentsy bricks online. Now I'm obsessed. Plus, it's sort of like buying local, right? Headquarters is in Meridian. I love that.
Cinnamon and sugar. A few weeks ago, I discovered that you can buy cinnamon and sugar already mixed together in the spice section. Mr. Keller and I have it on toast every morning now and it's delicious.
Dressing my boys alike. I've spent way too much money this fall on clothes for the boys. I love that they are both in sizes now where I can usually buy matching pieces wherever I go. Morgan usually insists on it now and whenever they aren't matching, he's always asking why. I even ordered them matching coats online -- which crazy enough, were actually from the girl section. Mr. Keller showed some concern when the receipt emailed to him said two girls coats. I reassured him they'd look just fine. I think they are neutral enough. I may be crazy? We'll see : )
Mr. Keller's lovely man beard. He's been growing it since we went to California in August and I'm sad to say it was shaved this morning for an "important meeting" at work. Tragedy. A real tragedy.
Pablo Neruda --- always moving. "I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”
Devendra Banhart. His voice, I swear.
And last but not least, Pacing the Panic Room. The blog is amazing. Although, Ryan Marshall has recently quit writing on it, I've been staying up too late at night, reading through his posts. There are four years' worth. I think I'm in good shape.
Have a comfy Tuesday. It's raining. I love.
