{Trick-or-Treat}

{cousins morgan and landen dressed up for the festivities}

{we, three.}

{besties morgan and mea}

this weekend was delightful. and sincerely so. friday evening, we got to catch up with old, dear friends, and enjoyed family all weekend long. morgan got to see each one of his cousins, which means i got to love on some seriously adorable babies. what a lucky auntie i am!

saturday evening, we dressed morgan up in his ducky costume my personal seamstress (also known as my mother) so kindly designed for our little darling and we took him to 'trunk or treat' at the church house parking lot with cousin 'lion' landen and miss 'lady-bug' mea. they all looked pretty darn cute and i love halloween anyway. it was memorable.

by the time we got morgan tubbed and scrubbed and into bed saturday evening, he was conked out.

then i convinced my darling to watch twilight with me in preparation for this month's upcoming 'new moon' event (i'm a 'jacob' girl, you know). we got in our pajamas and snuggled on the couch until we fell asleep.

a perfect holiday, indeed.

how was yours?
did you dress up?
what were your chillins for halloween?
did you have many trick-or-treaters?
did you get spooked?
did you know my husband is a big wimp and can hardly watch previews for scary movies without feeling uncomfortably scared? it's true. what a silly boy.
did you know halloween morning i woke up to find my giant pumpkins stolen from our front porch, along with some of our baby pumpkins and two medium ones? after i nourished those puppies in the garden all summer long, too. it seriously ruined the good half of my morning. {RIP} giant garden pumpkins of 2009. RIP.
