End of April-ish

This last month or so has been a blur, I swear! Lots of comings and goings, lots of projects in the works, a trip to Boise, a weekend with Kricket and preparing for the end of school!

Here are some photos from a few weeks ago!

Always silly!

My gorgeous apple tree that stayed in bloom for so long! Photos never do nature justice. She was absolutely breathtaking.

Our to breakfast one Saturday (and Danny with his crown!)

Morgan is the sweetest little artist. He makes the prettiest, sweetest things.

Drinking green smoothies like good little boys.

Smoothie mustache!

Mr. Keller, my vintage farm pal.

Going for a bike ride. Danny is so proud of himself for being able to ride a big boy bike now, instead of his trike. We need to get him a helmet!

Grocery shopping.

A slow sunday afternoon when we didn't feel up for church. Boardgames, tent-making, cookies, naps.

Junk!

One our way to Boise. The boys had their little backpacks packed up for days. As soon as Danny woke up that morning, he put his backpack  and boots on, even though we didn't leave for hours. So cute! I love the anticipation!

Early mornings at grandma's.

Shopping, shopping, shopping.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

Danny found these old binoculars at grandma's and took them everywhere that day.

Papa and his new guitar playing us quiet songs while Grandma put Danny to bed

We spent the afternoon at Settlers Park with our cousins

Off to Vintage to the Core market. I bought a huge window and we tried so hard to get it to fit into my mom's car. Thankfully, my friend Jessica had her truck there. I would have died if I would've had to have left it there.

Danny came to the market with us. His favorite find: a chocolate cupcake.
Morgan went fishing with papa that morning. He caught five fish in six casts!!! Like a little fishing boss!

Gingerbread Houses

We had a childhood tradition with the Dixons and Cornias of making gingerbread houses at Grandma and Grandpa Dixon's house each year. We always used old milk cartons and graham crackers and bin candy from Winco. I was so happy to start up the tradition with my boys. Morg got to go with papa to the store Saturday morning to pick out all the candy. They had so much fun! Danny ate so much candy and shoved tons inside his little house door. He was stashing it all in there for 'later on' snacking, I just know it.

And this is the little gummy gingerbread that Danny said was himself. He said, "I'm playing in the snow!"

Our creation (Danny's and mine)

Morgan and his perfect, sweet little house. He's pointing to his favorite candy piece, which was ironically mine as well.

Behold! The candy! Danny's totally bird-dogging!

I enjoyed watching Morg and Dad work together. They are so particular and artistic.

Sticky hands

Danny was 'resting', haha!
