So, September, you know.
We had a lovely weekend with Kricket here. Mr. Keller came home early from his hunting trip because of the rain and yesterday, we got a babysitter for the kids and worked on the new house all day. We actually worked on the jungle of a yard more than anything else, which really meant I got to boss everyone around. It was rather annoying for everyone involved, including myself. Sometimes, I wish I was a strong, man-sized woman so I could just do everything myself, the moment and exact way I want it done. (I swear.)
Mr. Keller finally bought us a chainsaw, (something I've been begging for since we first got married!). It should come in handy, since, after all, we do own six houses. When he pulled the saw out of its case, I kissed the handle. That's seriously how bad I've wanted one! I feel like we've finally arrived.
In other news: Greetings, September! In the past, I've wished you away, but I think we'll be friends this year.
In any event, we're still here; a little sleepy, but enjoying the cooling sun. Everyone keeps talking about sending their children to school. I'm so glad I get to keep mine home.
And that is all. Xo.
