Late July.

We’re still a one-car family and you know, it’s been no thing. The boys and I have been content to chill at home while dad is at work. I’m sure it will get to me eventually and I will drive Mr. Keller nuts enough to go buy me something else. Maybe in the next few weeks.

I finally got the swing set slide out from the shed this week and the boys have had a ball sliding down and into the pool. My sister and I used to do this all summer long with our neighborhood friends, so I've been having quite the trip down memory lane. When the boys went to bed on Sunday, I went through my old savebox full of pictures, diaries, notes and tons of other stuff. I stayed up until 1am laughing my head off. My childhood was so good! And funny! I love looking at old pictures. It makes me so happy.

We’ve been watching BBC’s Sherlock with Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch. We've loved it so much! It's brilliant, quirky, interesting and funny. And it’s taken my mind off my MM withdrawals. (Don!)

Saturday we went to the little zoo here in town. It's not anything too exciting but the tree house is fantastic. Wouldn't that be so great to have something like that in your own backyard?! We skipped naptime that day and came home to let the kids spending the afternoon playing in the pool. It was so hot, between the zoo and the pool, Danny fell asleep standing up, while trying to get on the couch. Jared was sitting by him and all of the sudden felt a 'plop'. Deeny boy was out cold. 5:30pm.

I hate to think it's late July already, but it is. We still have a list long of things we want to do, including a trip to Boise, Morgan sleepovers at both grandparents, roaring springs, ice cream truck goodies, one camping trip and homemade raspberry jam. Do we have time?

Here's some instagram photos from last week....

Raspberries from our little neighbor man

My favorite time of day: sunset (i.e. when the littles are finally in bed).
I love the silhouette of our backyard trees.

Mr. Morg graduates to a booster seat!

This one I could eat.

The ginormous tower we built.

...still in love with my chandelier...thank you mr. keller.

Pair of chairs, estate sale find!

Dying over this luscious rug from Ross. $12.99.

Vintage flashcards.

Ivory vintage coat wrap. Betty Draper, anyone?
I will be wearing this to church in the winter time. It's exquisite.

More estate sale finds. How fabulous are those striped gloves?!

Afternoon snack. Two seconds later, popcorn was everywhere.

Swimming.

Roops.

A 'best friend' moment

A car in each hand, and one in his mouth.
Also, we soon found out panties were a necessary addition to our swim routine when Danny slide so fast on his little bum, he almost shot right out of the pool on the other side.

Friday night date night....with the littles...to costco....and winco.
It was a fine evening.

Shadow

The tree fort at the zoo

Pure magic.

Keller men of mine

Poor Sug overheated and had to be carried the rest of the way. He sat down on my feet and kept saying, "Peeeeese!" (as in please carry me).....His cheeks were as red as his shirt.

Conked out.

Sunday morning

Yesterday afternoon. Sleepy times.

Met a Vintage Farm goal and got my nails done Saturday. So far, I'm crazy rough on these bad boys. Hopefully I can maintain them. That's the plan anyway. Also, I made a mental note of how glad I am not to be in my early twenties anymore. I couldn't think of anything to talk about with my nail girl. It was the longest hour I've spent in a while. Longer than Sunday school, even.

Tickles at homecoming. 6pm yesterday.

Danny has the funniest brother he knows.

Favorite routine. Danny runs away. We can't get him to come back out, which means he's up to no good. We call him. Nothing. We tell him we have cookies (or cheese, or crackers), and he come running full speed to the kitchen (works like a charm). Morg jumps out at the just the right time and scares the bejgesees out of poor Chubby and we all erupt in laughter. It's funny every single time, which is at least ten times a day.

These boys I love.

Cowboy, goggle, sword superhero boy.
