Untitled.

I'm huddled in the office with the space heater at my feet. It's quiet time. The house is quiet. Sick little Danny is sleeping in his room and Morgan and daddy are at church.

The last month has flown by. It seems every time I write to you, that's what how each post begins....time flies by. I've been contemplating saying goodbye to this blog and starting something new. I'm still feeling around with the idea of it. We'll see what comes. For now, here's what we've been doing.

When I went to Boise, I enjoyed spending one on one time with my mom. We did a little shopping, ate at Great Harvest, bought pink flowers for Grandma Dixon's grave (it's been a year since we said goodbye to her), had a nice sunday dinner and celebrated my brother's 19th birthday. I took a long, hot bath in my parents' tub, which is big enough to fit five people in it, so it was really more like a swim. I slept in, took a nap on the couch, did yoga and missed all three of my boys. When we drove back to Pocatello, we talked and I took in the green, spring landscape of the vast fields between here and Boise. They go on for miles and miles and reminded me, once again, that sometime, we'll eventually ditch this mountain town for a place open and wide. It seems like I'm longing for that time to come a little more as of late. Mr. Keller feels the same.

The boys adored having grandma around and so did I. It had been over a year since she had stayed by herself here for longer than a day or two. We played hours of "tiny cars", watched Caillou, talked, tickled little boys, laughed at Danny who learned how to sing like this: La la la laaaaa. We did a little more shopping, including picking some groceries up at walmart, where grandma got to ride around on the handicap cart. Morgan was thrilled. I made my mom scrub down and change her clothes when we got home because you know the kind of people that ride those things. We also measured and drew out some landscaping ideas for the yard. We made the rounds to the local nurseries and I got schooled in plants, shrubs and trees. We're not quite ready to plant just yet, but we're a few weeks away and I'm getting anxious. I feel like the outside of our home is majorly lacking and I'm ready to fill dirt in my hands again. Winter is too long. And it's over. I'm so glad.

Here's a million photos from the last month or so.
