Thoughts lately.

{sweet things from the flea market}

Did you know you can buy tiny baby marshmallows for your cup of hot chocolate? You can buy them in a big bottle. You're welcome.

I also discovered recently that Grasshopper cookies are delicious crumbled in hot chocolate, too. Mint and chocolate, perfectly wedded for eternity.

Jesse released his new album. Kina’s on every song. I’m dying.

Jared and I weren't sure if we liked Les Mis that well. (We rented it the other day.) The singing was so weak and the movie itself seemed coarse and grainy. After a few weeks of thinking about it, I think that’s the way it was supposed to be. Not to be compared to the talent of broadway, but a more realistic approach to the actual story, (though, as always, nothing compares to the beauty of the book). So, yes, after thinking about it, I did like it.  Although, neither one of us can stand too well Anne Hathaway. And Russell Crowe, bless your little heart.

I finally updated our 'house tour' on our website. Here's the link, if you'd care to see.

We bought our first tree ever in all our lives, a sweet little pussy willow. I can't believe I'm now the keeper of one! I’m so excited. We plan on buying two more weeping willows and a globe willow for our front. And a bunch of red twig dogwoods. For our feral yard/pretend farm.

A lady bought some vintage farm stuff the other day and she reminded me that she and her husband had bought two of our chocolate puppies almost three years ago. She showed me pictures and it made me miss our Belly girl.

Call The Midwife has been one of my favorites for a while now and I'm glad that the second season is now airing on PBS. I'm in love with everything about that era. And Jenny, the main nurse, is so sweet and pretty. I swoon over her clothes each week. The costuming is to die for.

And last but not least, here's a pretty song for a snowy April monday. Maybe it's sunnier where you are. Come get me, if so.

Xo.
