Yay for Downton Abbey's two-hour premiere! I'm happy to say I somehow conned Mr. Keller into watching it with me (not without some complaining, though). Funny thing is, he asked me to pause it a few times, rewind it a few times, and at the end, he asked when it was coming on again. Not bad, not bad!
We've been housebound this last week and it's been nice. Mr. Morg and I escape in the evenings for a few errands here and there, but we'd rather not haul little brother around in the snow. He weighs a million pounds and I can hardly lift him, and that's all we would need is a quick little slip in the snow and we'd be in trouble.
Yesterday we made banana bread and it was all gone by this morning. I consumed most of it. Poor boys.
A few nights ago the glass broke on our fireplace door (we don't really know how), so we've been fire-less, which is quite the bummer since it's been snowing like crazy.
Danny's been super in love with daddy lately. He follows him around, hugs him tight around his neck and literally runs into his arms when he comes home from work at night. It melts my heart. The other night, I kept saying, "Danny loves his daddy" and pretty soon Morgan came over and crawled on my lap. He said, "Danny loves daddy, but Morgan loves mommy." I think he thought it was making me feel bad. My sweet little Morgan boy.
Danny's also been super lovey with his big brother. They hug for several seconds at a time all during the day and Danny will turn around and fall back into Morgan so he'll put his arms around him from behind. When they were bathing the other night, we swooped in with a towel to get Danny out and Morgan said, "Noooo! Don't take my favorite fish!" Hahahaha!!! He's also very protective. Danny is in a crazy-busy stage and drives me semi-insane most of the time! Whenever I get after him for doing something naughty, Morgan says, "You have to be nice to my Danny. He's my best friend!"
And there's the reason I had another child.
So, it's Friday. The house is (mostly) clean. It's snowing. And I've cooked all week...which means I'm *not* this weekend. Things are looking good.
Happy weekend, my dears. See you on the flip side. Or whatever.
