Huntington. II.

So if you don't want to see hot, up-close self portraits of Mr. Keller and I myself, I would stop reading this blog for a few days. We took a bunch of pictures, and even journaled our trip on the flight back home. That's how good of a time we had.

Continuing on : )

Neither one of us wanted a schedule, because seriously, a vacation with a schedule or list doesn't sound like a vacation to me. We just wanted to be together, and as I mentioned earlier, I wanted beach and sand and sun. (And good food, of course!) Nothing else! We flew into Los Angeles wednesday night - an hour and a half flight - perfect. (I was very ready to touch down by then!) We rented a car and hopped on "the 405" and thought of Fred Armisen the whole drive. Forty-five minutes later, we got to Seal Beach, where we stayed in the Ayres hotel. It was so nice and pretty, with a European feel. They were so sweet and the town was so clean -- even the grocery stores, which were suprisingly less expensive than ours here.

Thursday, we put on our sunglasses and never took them off the rest of the time. The sun was bright and fantastic! I wore a dress. We had breakfast and went straight to the water. Seal Beach waterfront was pretty, but we kept driving a few miles down the road and found Huntington Beach to be the sweetest little beach town. We seriously spent the entire rest of the trip there. We swam into the waves, drew in the sand, watched the birds, napped. I pretended I was a mermaid and Mr. Keller calculated property costs, trying to figure out when we could buy a place there.

Apparently, we're both dreamers. Just different kinds.
