Memorial Day weekend was quiet for us, which was just what we needed. Both kids have passed colds back and forth for the last little while, Sugar being the last one to have it. This weekend was no different, and he was teething, coughy, grouchy and under the (rainy) weather.
We took it easy. We took turns napping, ate good food, watched a few good shows and finally, when Monday rolled around and the rain let up, it was time to go fishing. Morgan got his very own fishing pole a few weeks ago and has been pratically beggining us to take him out everyday since. Driving there, I wasn't sure who was more excited, Jared or our three year-old in the backseat. I'm pretty sure he's waited his whole parenthood life to experience that first-catch-ever moment with his son. I'm just glad I was able to capture it with my camera. I will love the picture above for as long as I live.
It was sort of perfect, even with a little rain, sitting on the dock with my camera in hand, thinking how sweet my life is and how big of a crush I have on my husband. He's so good at everything he does and he's so sweet with our boys. I love you, Jared Keller. I really do.
Here are a few a large handful of pictures from the afternoon at Foster:

{franklin county, i'm so in love with you.}
{ps....no, I'm not pregnant. I call that three layers of clothing, plus a few too many cookies as of late}
I love LOVE the pictures of Jared and Morgan checking out their first catch. Jared looks like he is the proudest happiest father ever!!
