December comings and goings...

I blinked and december was gone. 

We ate. (A lot.) Hugged old friends, went on a few dates, celebrated six years of marital bliss (or something pretty close to bliss), spanked and pinched the chubbiest bottom belonging to the happiest six month-old boy that ever lived, wrapped presents, hung white lights, took over 1,000 pictures, sorted through five hundred receipts, cooked, watched old movies, had a few good cries, snuggled, went roller skating, made fun of people, sang, laughed, smooched a bunch, and toasted to the year behind us and the brand new one before us. 

It's been good. Don't you agree?
