We had a little party for Morg last weekend, with grandmas and grandpas and cousin Landen. The boys drooled all afternoon over the birthday cake and couldn't wait to 'dig in'. When it came time to open presents, Morgan shared with Landen. Morg got cars, tractors and lots of Caillou things. His favorites have been the play rifle gun daddy picked out for him, and his new Caillou books. I think he pretends he's Caillou and is always so happy when I pretend along with him and call him that. Caillou may be bald and whiney, but I'm so not complaining. It's ten times better than Barney, which used to be his favorite! We're making progress!
I got this construction cake idea from my friend Jamie! I thought it was so creative and had to give it a try. Morgan loved it and couldn't wait to take the cars off the top!
This picture is so endearing to me! I absolutely love the excitement that seems to accompany all things fun these days. It makes it so special!
This picture just kills me! The tablecloth was so messy after these two monkeys were done!
Sending off our balloons with our wishes tied to them!
I think Morgan wanted to fly away with each one we let go!
And this one is from tonight! Dinner served with M&Ms and Starbursts, and a candle in his hamburger. He also got chocolate milk and a sucker, and this afternoon he got to go to the store to pick out any toy he wanted. Out of all the big trucks we looked at, he, of course, picked out a small little matchbox car to add to his massive collection. Silly boy! We ended the night by going out for blue ice cream with sprinkles on top.
I love my little Morgan boy!
