Love, love, love.
Well, here she is. My favorite score from my trip last week. I wrote about it here, and then told the story here.
But I wanted to tell it here too.
My mom and I went shopping sans child on Saturday afternoon. We went to St. Vincent De Paul's thrift store in Caldwell so I could see if I could find anything for VF Interiors. I scoped the little store out and on our way out the front door, I noticed the cutest little basket I had ever seen. Right away, I went to track down someone who could tell me the price, since it wasn't listed. Much to my dismay, the manager told me that he had had women trying to buy this cart for four years, but that it wasn't for sale. He needed it for displaying things. I asked him to reconsider, then we walked away empty handed. Twenty minutes down the road, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I called him up and asked if I found something else for him to use as a display, if he would think about selling me the cart he was using now. He said it depended what it was, but that he'd be willing to take a look, so I went and bought a shelf at D.I. and we turned around and went back. My mother thought I was ridiculous, but she's the best sport around. After a little coaxing and batting my eyes a few times, my mother said I charmed my way to victory and the cart was mine! I was beaming for the rest of the day!
I passed out my card and promised Manager Mike I would feature it on my website! So, MM, here you go! I cannot tell you how much this little basket speaks to me. I love it so. Don't you too?
I know you do!\
