Last night I purchased a cute new fall coat because I love vintage-inspired clothing, and because Jared has been hunting too much, and because heaven knows a woman can never have too many, and because it was $20.99 (yes, $20.99) and as soon as I walked through the doors of the store, I knew it was mine!
Yesterday, I made homemade chicken and dumplings. In the crockpot. It was simple. And yummy.
Yesterday, I bought Morgan twelve pieces of (cute!) clothing from D.I. for winter time for $28.00 (including gap overalls, oskosh overalls, and columbia fleece jacket!). Shop second-hand, folks! It's the way to go!
In the last week, Bella has chewed up (and ruined) $5.00 worth of passeys.
Speaking of passeys - this is what your face should look like if you ever drop one in the dirt and put it back in your mouth without wiping it off:
Moving on:
Last night, Jared brushed his teeth and took his vitamins and was walking to bed when he said, "I can't get that song from Little Mermaid out of my head!"
Then I laughed my head off because I personally haven't seen Little Mermaid since I was maybe twelve. It's not a fave around here since it was mulled into my little brain growing up that she didn't dress modest enough for starring in a child's movie - perfect cleavage and all. But apparently, Jared knows the words to the songs. Especially the song where (in his words), 'Ursella is trying to get Ariel.' I tried remembering it, but when I couldn't, Jared refused to sing it. (I suppose that's crossing the line, in his eyes -- singing Disney songs. Out loud.)
Oh, my house is full of funny boys!
And sweet hearts. (See exhibit 1,980,098,398 directly below.)
And this is Morgan grocery shopping.
This is Morgan entertaining himself while mommy works.
This is the world of discovery.
And this little boy is all mine.
Quote of my life:
Happy trails. Here's to you, from me.

PS - These lovebirds made a family of seven together. The youngest of which is my father, who is having his fifty-third birthday this weekend! Happy Birthday, dad! I'll be seeing you!
