I anticipate your coming all week long, knowing that you will bring my husband home for an entire two days. Oh, how I love you.
Our Recent Activities:
Friday (last Friday): Fridays are our date nights, which almost always equals going to Costco, walking around and looking at, but rarely buying, the lovely new shipments the week has brought in.
I ate two BIG pieces of some good quality Costco pizza. Yessum, I did. And after Jared and I shared their new hand-dipped ice cream bar, which, thanks to the cashier, we now know has a whopping total of 870 calories. Hot dang. We devoured that thing like it was nothing.
And we’ll probably have another one tonight.
Saturday: We celebrated growing bellies at the family baby shower for Holly and Cassie! It was rockin! Especially for the fact that Jared, Preston and Wes stuck around for most of the fun. It never fails to amaze me the decibels that can be reached when there’s a room full of women!
I patted those cute bellies. A lot. And enjoyed catching up with the siblings. We even got to witness Preston practicing labor. He looks a little farther along than Holly, though. He may be carrying twins, we’re not sure.
The best part of the entire day: laughing together.
The Sunday Highlight: Dinner at Grandma Buttars’ home. And it truly is home there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week brought more of the-beautiful-same that I’m growing to love more and more each day.
I:
· Did laundry.
· Made dinner x 5.
· Grocery shopped x 3 due to the fact that I never make good lists.
· Made and devoured Linda Fisher’s recipe of “Deluxe Banana Bread” (see page 49 of your Kuna 5th ward Cook Book).
· Went tanning.
· Did more laundry.
· Told Jared I was in love with him. Like fifteen times.
· Went to Ross, TJs and D.I.!
· Planned for Easter.
· Thought hard about buying the MOST ADORABLE little 6-9 month-old Carter’s Easter dress and taking Morgan to church in it, then decided against it.
· Returned the breast pump (tears, tears).
· Retired Baby Mozart and Baby Bach, and brought out Baby DaVinci.
· Went to Jared’s first city-league soccer game…which now makes me a soccer wife!?! He makes me so proud!
· Watched American Idol and had nice dreams of Mr. Adam Lambert (even if he does like dudes). I DON’T EVEN CARE! He is so darn hot.
· Also said a tearful goodbye to Scott which sounded like this: Scott, dogg, you have the most lovely eyes I ever did see. I will personally miss you and your fuzzy hair.
· Took a trip downtown to Vain and Vintage with Morgan where I purchased a very adorable vintage table cloth, napkins and dish towel for our Easter dinner table. I am so excited to use these I can hardly stand it!
· Fed the stray little kitty that has now become somewhat of a permanent fixture of my front porch. He now just needs a name….any suggestions?
