It’s raining this morning. I could tell before I even got out of bed, before I even opened my eyes. My knuckles are swelled up to the size of quarters. I look like a 90 year-old man.

Today is an ibuprophen day.

{On the agenda}

Ibuprophen. Gerber bananas. Wipe messy face, hands, clothes and chair. Wipe face again. Goodbye to daddy. Make bed. Open blinds. Change little yay-hoo. Deal with wet-dog smell. Yuck. Baby kisses. Yum. Bath time = nekkid baby time. Extra yummy. Get dressed. Both of us. Baby Einstein time! Leftover dishes. Dishwasher: emptied. Finish vacuuming. Figure out which shoes are best for rain-wear. Run “goody” errands for the Easter Bunny. Find new recipe for dinner -something with beef (we've had chicken the last two nights). Fifty cat-naps (not mommy cat-naps). Fifty diapers, fifty bottles, fifty tears, fifty kisses. Then, at approximately at 515pm, the best part of our day begins: welcome home.
