We spent the last few weeks of August trying to mark everything off our summer dream list.
We went on picnics, to the park, swimming and on a 'vacation' to Grandma and Papa's in Logan. We read book after book in the afternoon. I tried to soak every moment in, anticipating the change the school year would bring. I'm thankful to have done this, to have marked the memories, and the feelings. Those last few weeks will always be sweet to me.
Morgan and I on our first annual school shopping date. We went to Texas Roadhouse (his choice) and to pick out some new clothes and school supplies.
We also had a movie/popcorn date in the family room. We pulled the mattress out and snuggled together!
