Thanksgiving.

 {Grandma Dixon's pretty plates and goblets}

We were in Boise for Thanksgiving at my parents' house this year. We had a great time visiting, eating, relaxing and shopping. The boys pretty much ran wild for a good four days while I lounged around. It was fabulous. Dad built lots of warm fires and I took a few naps in his big lounge chair. We went to Walmart Thanksgiving night to buy a tv, waited in line, bought it, brought it all the way back to Pocatello and that little bastard doesn't even work. Ugh! It would be our luck. We will probably just return it and wait for another sale because at this point, since we'd be paying more and trading down for anything available now. The boys got new Christmas pajamas from grandma and papa and we had fun reading stories and having hot chocolate with candy canes in our cups to stir it. We had a cozy time.

We stopped and visited Kricket and Michael on our way back home and by the time we hit the road, the boys were conked out in five minutes. It was a quiet drive with a brilliant sunset. It's always nice coming home.

{We've adopted Stacy's perfect recipe for perfect rolls. They are so good!}

It's always amazing to me how you can cook for two days straight and it's all history in twenty minutes.
