This afternoon, we stopped by the fruit-on-the-corner guy and bought a trunk full of pumpkins and we're hoping to go to the pumpkin patch, as well. Morg has already had two different colds, thanks to preschool (I'm guessing). Danny's held out strong so far, and I keep crossing my fingers. He misses his MiMi when we drop him at preschool. The other day he cried and cried all the way back home. He kept saying between sobs, "Mimi, Preschool! Mimi Preschool!". Not even goodies could console him. These two are best friends. They get closer every day. I love watching (and listening) to them play together. Most moments aren't dull around here.
My favorite lately has been rocking Danny to sleep at night. He snuggles in so close and shares his blanket with me. Whenever I get after him for doing something naughty, he gets close to my face and says, "I love you, mom." NOT KIDDING. How on earth can you keep a straight, angry face when this kind of schmoozing is going on? I could eat this child.
Morg is loving preschool and all the projects they make there. He comes home with the cutest crafts. Last weekend he made a tree out of a toilet paper roll. They cut a hole on the side and glued a squirrel inside then clipped the top of the roll and glued red and orange leaves on it. It was a tree! He's getting anxious for his birthday and I can't believe he's almost five.
Last weekend, my brother came over and took a few family pictures for us in the backyard. It was pretty easy and painless, which is a good thing. The men I live with are perpetually burned out when it comes to photography. A few turned out okay. Maybe next year I'll go all out and hire someone, though I said that last year. And the year before.
Also, it's beard season, you guys, and I'm so glad. Mr. Keller seems extra cozy when we snuggle on the couch at night. It's always my favorite time of day. The house is usually clean, the boys are in bed and it's quiet. Heaven.
Anyway, here's some instagrams from the last few weeks....because, yes, I'm too lazy to pull out the nice camera lately. What a shame.

First day of preschool!
First hunting trip of the season. Yes, I was that wife who had to grab the camera. Look how cute these guys are?! They were so, so, so excited. Like little boys on Christmas. I'm serious! It was so funny (and cute!).
Warm September evenings outside.
And some morning cuddling.
