Birthday Business

This was our most entertaining birthday party so far in our parenthood career. Of course it would be Sugar's two year-old one that would surpass all the others. He's our ham. He thoroughly enjoyed every little thing and took his sweet little time playing with each toy. What a joy that afternoon was for us to watch unfold. He's so unpredictable and funny. I love him.

He got a swimming pool, a lawn mower, big beach balls, a puppy that barks and poops, animal crackers, lots of books, a phone, Caillou pajamas, a riding horsie, sprinkler toys, balloons and a rainbow popcorn birthday cake. Heaven. Big brother did most of the present-opening, since Sug was too busy playing with his loot.

As soon as he opened his Caillou pajamas, he had to put them right on. He also insisted on opening his birthday animal crackers from grandma Stacy. He stuffed them in his mouth by the handful. I swear he kept us laughing the whole afternoon.

Here's his ride-on horsie I scored at a yard sale the day before for $5.00! He learned a new word 'yeehaw', and has been repeating it ever since.

"Babooms"

Really cute garland from Walmart, of all places

All wrapped up in his bouquet. He was rolling around on the floor with them, squealing like crazy!

The popcorn cake which was a frosting disaster beneath. Thank goodness it was covered up.

The end!
