Cleanupcleanup
Monday morning, my parents swooped in at 9:30 and dad worked two full days on our backyard. Early birthday present to meeeeee! We rototilled, mowed, spread more bark, laid sod, patched the fence, hung trellis and a shade sail (which I was warned by both Mr. Keller and my dad that it wouldn't stay....and sadly, it has already fallen down). Mom and Morgy planted a few garden goods and I picked up a beautiful purple hanging flower pot for our front porch. It was nice working side by side with my dad. I miss him. And he allows me to boss him around whenever I want. Heaven. He is the most patient, handy man I know.
Anyway, they went home yesterday and took a child with them. I'm down to one and am enjoying some one on one time with baby Sugar boy. I picked up Best of Flea Market Style and am excited to put him to bed early and sink into bed to read through it.
This weekend, uncle Dude graduates and will be moving to Pocatello. My parents will officially be empty-nesters. I suspect some heartache in their home in the near future....especially for my mom. However, we're very excited to actually have a single family member living in the same town as us. Uncle Dude is the coolest person my boys know.
