When we were young.....

This is Mr. Keller and I at our house on Dunn Street in 2006. We were so in love with this house - built in 1912. It was our first fixer-upper and I remember realizing here how much my heart truly loved loving old things back to life. It was tiny, but it had a gorgeous fireplace and mantel and a big arched doorway to the dining room. The yard was crazy. I had to slide through a skinny dungeon hallway in the basement to do laundry each week. We had no dishwasher. No sprinkler system. No littles. We did whatever we wanted. We slept in, went to movies on the weekend, stayed up way too late. Mr. Keller was still in school and we were close enough he could walk to class. I had my insurance licenses and worked at American Family. We had only been married six months when we bought this house, and by the time we moved two years later, baby Morgan was baking in my belly. I miss these days! So much. And I'm so glad we have pictures to remind us we were once young, skinny, well-rested newlyweds. I love you, jlk.
