Hello, my dears. It's Wednesday night already and that's kind of a nice thought. Last weekend came and went too quickly and we're in need of a slower one than last. Grandma Glenna, Jackie and my mom came for a little lunch on Saturday and to visit the boys. Mom slipped and fell right before they drove down here but they decided to still come. By the time they got here, she was in bad shape. After lunch, I convinced her to go to the quick care place down the street and as it turns out she broke her leg. And her finger. Crazy lady. She's feeling a little better now and they said to give it 4-6 weeks and she should be a lot better. We're too young to have rickety parents! It's exhausting me.
Kenzie stayed the night with us Saturday night. She's like a breath of fresh air for me. She's so beautiful and sweet and happy. I love her.
Sunday, we drove to Logan to spend the afternoon with the Kellers. Papa is on the mend and we're so thankful.
Morg went to the dentist today. He has a bunch of cavities, (which they tell me *isn't* from negligence), and by the time they handed me the estimate on what it's going to cost, I about fell off the chair. $3,700. And we don't have dental insurance. {Insert 'holyshizballs' here.} We're planning on getting a second opinion, but seriously. I'm drowning in pity over here. That's like braces on my teeth, a voluptuous new chest, a vacation to Turks and Caicos, grass sod in the backyard, a down payment on a new car, and a million other things on my wish list. Not $3,700 on baby teeth that will all fall out in a few years. Oy.
This afternoon, I spent nap time picking up the house. By the time I was done, I thought the boys would be waking up soon, but since they didn't, I crawled into bed. Then it started to rain. Rain! Such a peaceful sound in contrast to the quiet snow that's been falling all winter. The littles must have thought so, too, because they slept for an hour and a half more. A good afternoon, indeed.
Here are a few pictures from the last week or so.
Xoxo!
