Happy Easter Weekend

I snuck away last night to do some Easter shopping for the littles. I also brought home some pretty pink tulips for our Easter table this weekend. (They are beautiful!) This morning we've been doing laundry and sprucing up the house with our spring decorations. Perhaps the biggest blessing of all is that the sunshine is still high in the sky and the air is so warm. This morning, Mr. Keller declared it feels like summer. Of course, we're hesitant until June. Still, it's coming.

This weekend, we'll be dyeing hard boiled eggs and watching a new Franklin Easter movie and Sunday, we're having scalloped potatoes and carrot cake. This is one of my favorite times of the year and it always makes me think of all of my grandmas - grandma tilley, grandma glenna and of course grandma dixon. It's such a feminine holiday. I'm even wearing an apron today.

Of course, I'm so ultimately grateful for my brother and Savior, Jesus Christ; for his atoning sacrifice and for the extending promise of the Resurrection, which is cause for greatest celebration. Here's to a lovely Easter weekend.
