A Danny post.

My sweet, little squishy boy child: I love you so much I could eat you. You're so patient with my constant nibbling. I simply cannot resist.

For journaling:

At this age, Danny's all personality. He's proving to be very adventurous (read: dangerous) and he loves to push my buttons. He's very driven and when he doesn't get his way or when Morgan makes him mad, he throws himself on the floor and conks his head on purpose three or four times. He's always had a thing for dramatics. Morgan is Mr. Caution and Danny just about gives him a heart attack every day. He's always calling for me to come "help danny" and last night I heard him say, "Get off that bench, Danny! That's a bad idea!" He keeps ALL of us on our toes.

He's still so very solid and we like him that way. We love all of his rolls and folds of skin, especially his cheekies and his little double chin. He's a horrible, horrible eater, though. Mr. Carbs, we call him. He refuses all vegetables and most fruit, except bananas and applesauce. He loves brown rice, bread, crackers and milk. Once I decide to work up the energy to take his bottle away for good, he'll probably start eating better....I hope.

Danny loves when daddy comes home. It's a sweet sight to see both boys greet their father with such excitement. Today at the park, we walked to the slide ahead of Jared and Danny wouldn't go play with Morgan because Jared had caught up yet. He actually turned away from the toys and walked back to meet him. It was so sweet!

Words he can say: I see you, mom, mommy, dad, brabra (brother) and ei-ei-oh. He still loves his blankey and passey and still takes an afternoon nap. He loves hiding behind things -- the couch, the kitchen bench, under the kitchen table -- and then poking his head out he says, "Iseeyou" (or something awfully close).

All of this aside, Danny is so funny. He is so so so silly. He loves to make us laugh. He's always in his own little world. He is quirky and flirty and hysterical. When we were in Boise a few weeks ago, Papa Scott watched Morgan a lot for us, while Danny hung out with me and my mom, shopping and shopping and shopping. My mom and I enjoyed him so much that trip. We laughed a lot because of him!
