Yellow slide, yellow treats and sunkissed faces and bums.
I'm trying to avoid going shopping because it makes me want to cry seeing notebooks and backpacks filling the front aisle shelves. I'm going to pretend August is June and today is May, and that summer is still very well here. She is, isn't she? The littles tell me so. We have swimming to do, a rodeo to see this weekend, and a fridge full of root beer popcicles. And we still want to sneak in a trip to the cabin, a bonfire with friends, a trip to Boise, and a backyard camp out.
Summer's still here.
Late July, let's be in love.
