It is Tuesday, my dears and strangely enough, I actually feel rested today, thanks to my wondrous soulmate who has let me sleep in five days in a row now. There isn't much I like better than sleep these days. And I know that I'm loved when Mr. Keller slips out at the first sound of waking children and shuts the door behind him.
Yesterday I went shirt shopping at the Goodwill and found four springy shirts for eight bucks. Not bad, but I may be starting to dress on the grandma-ish side of fashion. I'm twenty-six. Is that okay?
Sugar is ten months old today, that little fart. I think I'll find ten rolls on his fat little bottom and pinch-pinch-pinch them until he squeals. Gosh, I love that boy.
Grandma's funeral is on Monday and I'll have the honor of speaking at the service. I picked some grape hyacinths from my neighbor's yard and set out a few of her things that I have had tucked away for a while. I'm trying to remember everything so I can start writing it all down. Remembering things I haven't for a while makes me happy, then sad, then happy and sad. Then happy/sad. You know?
"Life is a train of moods like a string of beads; and as we pass through them they prove to be many colored lenses, which paint the world their own hue, and each shows us only what lies in its own focus."
I love Emerson. Also, I wish I was still a girl.

Mr. Keller in pink and stripes? It was a handsome day.
My new/old shirts. Coral Polkadots, I know!
For grandma
Happy ten months, you jolly little boy.
