My darlings, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and a sweet, peaceful Christmas. I've been missing my dad a little extra these last few weeks, since he was always the sweetest holiday enthusiast growing up. One of my favorite childhood memories is of him sitting in the rocking chair with me in the family room one Christmas Eve night. We sang every Christmas song we knew, as loud as we could, until mom made us go to bed so Santa could come!
Mr. Keller and I are starting a handful of our own traditions this year, which has been bittersweet for me to plan. And a little exciting, too. Tonight, we're bundling up, going to dinner and then roller skating afterwards. To be honest, I think Mr. Keller and I are more excited for these next few days than the three year-old little elf that lives here!
Merry Christmas, you guys! Wear something flannel, eat something sweet, sing, read, sleep and take a million pictures. We'll be doing the same. Love you all.
