GNO, and a little catch up.

Our girls-only over-nighter in Logan included shopping, Olive Garden, and Breaking Dawn, which was sort of dreamy, and entirely better than I expected. That wedding was to die for! And of course, my heart still belongs to Jacob. It always will.
Visiting our two college babies took me back, and made me feel sort of really old! It also made me feel old to be tooling around with my mom and Jackie, realizing I'm an old, married, mother-woman, too. Kenzie gave us a little scare when she pretended for a long five minutes that she got engaged the night before, until we all started crying and she felt bad, so she broke the joke. And almost my favorite part of it all was driving around Cache Valley, feeling a little like the scenery was placing me in a dream. Everything was covered in snow and it was so beautiful.

I bought two vintage wood ship pulleys and a mirror at an antique store, a new fuzzy blanket for our couch for the winter months, and a little red firetruck, since that was Morgan's last request as I kissed him goodbye.

And in case you were feeling a little concerned, Mr. Keller survived playing Mr. Mom for twenty-four hours, and I even returned home to a clean house, bathed kids, a smoothed bed and dinner on the table! The man has skills.

Things I am grateful for:

Friday: the grandma-type of babysitter. Jared and I went out to dinner, and for peanut butter pie, and then took a drive up to the foothills to watch snow fall over our city.
Saturday: the ladies in my life
Sunday: a talk in church that focused on gratitude, and a safe drive home.

And for fun, here's some pictures of two of my mothers, and a few of my sisters (although, too many were missing!).

  1. I loved it too. I dont think I realized how much of a jacob fan I was until I...cant believe I am admitting this....but cried when they danced after the wedding and then when he sobs after she dies. Oh it was so good. How can I wait for the next and why must it end!!
