Trick or Treat!

This year, I decided to make both boys' halloween costumes, since our usual seamstress (grandma) has been quite busy. I knew with Morg's bright blue eyes, he would be a darling scarecrow and I fell in love with this hat on Etsy months ago and wanted to give it a try myself since the price online was $65! I think this will probably be the last year that I'll have much sway on what Morgan wants to dress up as, since he definitely has a mind of his own!

He's been so excited for the last few weeks now and we've been watching Caillou's Halloween episodes over and over and over......! When it came time to put his costume on, he could hardly stand it. Between that and cousin Landen coming to our house for the first time, he was in heaven! Thankfully, the weather was pretty nice, too. We had fun with our friends at the trunk-or-treat and plan on taking him to a few houses tonight to trick-or-treat. I swear within the last month or so, I'm realizing that with children, everything is magical. I'm getting so excited for the holidays. They are bound to be sweet and memorable. What a fun, silly stage this is!
