Sweet weekend

It's Friday, my loves, and conference weekend, too! I'm looking forward to slowing down a bit. It's been an entire month since we've been home together for the entire weekend and we have many Datelines to catch up on. (DVR, how I love thee.) Tonight we're fast fooding it and running to Lowes. I think I've talked Mr. Keller into buying me a new kitchen sink and one for the bathroom as well. I also finally talked him into a water softener, too. (I call this progress, my darlings, progress!) It makes me feel old to get so excited about such boring things. In fact, truth be told, Monday he came home from work to tell me he was taking me clothes shopping. He is the Adolf Hitler of budget nazis, so when he does things like that, it means something sweet. Instead, I told him I would rather wait and pair that money with a little elbow grease Saturday and make things look better. So that's what we're doing...(I must be crazy!).

Also on the agenda: lawn mowing, perusing Vain and Vintage tomorrow afternoon and making fresh blueberry cobler with Costco ice cream. Oh, and Sunday we're staying in bed all day. Stop by if you'd like. The more the merrier!
