Happy monday, my darlings. I'm glad to report that the kids and I made it home safely and all is well. I'm pretty sure my mom cried for most of the day yesterday, and Morgan cried himself to sleep last night missing grandma's bed. It always seems I leave a part of me everytime I go, but I've come to terms that it will be that way forever. Thankfully, I always have the drive home to sort it out in my heart. I leave it all in the fields.
I smooched on Mr. Keller for most of the day yesterday and after an afternoon nap, we cooked spaghetti together for dinner with brownies for dessert. I think this cooler weather has brought back to me a desire to actually cook. All summer we ate cucumber and cheese sandwiches and burgers on the grill, and I maybe actually cooked twice. I'm hoping to change that trend and try some new recipes this week. I've been in the mood for soup lately and homemade bread, but mostly, I'll be honest, I'm very sick of sandwiches and grilling.
Morgan is still doing so good with the potty business! I'm so proud and thankful! We've had two accidents in five days, which I consider pretty darn good. And you should see the way we dance around the kitchen when the occasion calls for it. We feel pretty good around here!
Xo.
PS - I bought new boots and an a d o r a b l e apron in Boise. Can't wait to share.
