Morgan has been so silly lately, saying the funniest things. And can I just mention we’ve been sans passey and sleeping in the 'big boy' bed for over three weeks now? And he’s done it like a champ. No big deal! Whew! Now for potty training.
As for the things that crack us up - I've jotted a few down these last few days. Here goes:
While laying in bed with Jared and I the other day, he was trying hard to procrastinate going to sleep. He kept naming things he 'needed' and he said, ‘I need milk! I need food! I need cake! I need cookies!!!!!!!’
He’s been pretending like he’s a baby by lying down on the table (of all places), with a tiny baby passey, a blankey and a pretend baby bottle.
The other night he had been laying in his bed trying to go to sleep for over an hour. When we went in to check on him, he sat right up in bed and said ‘I wake up! I wake up!’ (as in, 'I already went to sleep, and now I can get up!’ Nice try, buddy!
He also likes to drop his toys on the floor (on purpose) and ask me to pick them up for him by saying ‘I can’t reach it.’
He calls our baby ‘Baby Tummy’.
If Jared and I are in another room, he yells for us from across the house by our names 'Jar' and 'Hollie'.
He's been coming up to me, putting his hands on my face and kissing me on the lips, then saying, ‘Kiss like daddy! Kiss like daddy!’ (If that doesn't melt my heart.)
Calls himself ‘Silly goose!’ whenever he laughs really hard about things.
Touched cousin Levi's ear and said 'cute ear!'
Says 'Me nonny!' (naughty) when he makes messes with his toys.
Told daddy to ‘be patient’ in Sacrament meeting today, after Jared had told him to fold his arms for the prayer.
Favorite things:
Riding his bike outside (he can even pedal now!)
Eating banana bread
Reading books
and playing horsie with daddy
