Love:
Foot massages
Double bacon cheeseburgers from Wendys
Homemade cookie dough
Brown organic eggs
Sunshine
Clean sheets
Bubble baths
Handstiched linen
Baby lotion
Buying newborn clothes
Don't love:
Snow at the end of April
Baby limbs in my ribs
Neighbor kids riding dirt bikes in the neighborhood
Dog food
That awful smell coming from the fridge. (Finally figured out what it was....moldy pinto beans in an open can.)
Gosh dang, I'm such a great housewife.
PS -
This week I've been walking like I'm 89 years old. (Seriously. My back.) And I've finally began the 'wear-your-undies-and-pants-up-to-your-chest' stage. Makes me feel so hot.
People keep asking if I'm due soon, (even the mailman), as if I don't already feel as large as a house! Seven weeks out doesn't count as 'soon', does it?
We went to our first birthing class this time around. We got to practice all the trusty old pain management techniques and got a kick out of another dad in the class asking the most questions!
Morgan and I took about ten bubble baths this week.
Today, we had our first goldfish casualty and Morgan went around saying, 'Sad!' and 'Sorry!' all morning long.
Morg's new favorite thing to say is 'gosh dangit', which is better than other things I'm certain he's heard from time to time. And his new favorite show is Little Bear, which we've watched a gazillion times this week.
Tonight, Grandma's coming to visit for a whole week! We're excited to work outside, sew and.....get things ready for baby brother. I purposely put off most things 'baby' so I wouldn't get too excited and anxious. I told myself when May comes, we're good to go.
Also - guess whose been doing canonballs off the side of the tub into the water? And using the reclining part of the back of the tub as a slide.
'Weeeeeee!' he says.
Oh yes. Weeee.
