Being 'mischievous' and other business.

This week, Morg has decided he is the big-boy type. If ever I can't locate him at any point in the day, he's in the bathroom with the sink on. 'Wash hands', he says. Then he starts giggling because he knows he's semi 'in trouble' for sneaking.

He's also decided that there really must be a baby in my stomach. He brings his blanket to wrap around my tummy and tries to put his passey up to my belly button. We are all a little anxious.

Of course, we'll have to wait a little longer.

This is another new trick, too.  Jared called for me from the kitchen and told me to bring the camera. Super funny. And super not safe. But still. Such is the life of boy, I'm learning.

Thirty weeks: I never thought you'd come.
PS - Like my stretchy legging 'jeggings'? I feel so stuck in the '90s. It took being pregnant for me to even contemplate buying them. But since I have, let me tell you, my life has changed. They feel like heaven.

We also cleaned out clothes too small now for Morg, which I must admit, made me a little teary. (It does every time!) It's exciting (and strange) to think that soon we'll be making room for sweet little things right alongside Morgan's clothes. Oh, the mixed emotions!

Morg's also picked up on emotion a lot lately. The other day I was typing on the computer, looking rather 'serious', I guess, and he came to me and said 'mommy is sad.' I told him 'No, mommy is happy!!!' Then he repeated that about a million times. But he keeps saying 'Daddy is sad.' or 'Daddy is happy' or 'Morgan is happy', and so on.

He's also really into singing songs. His favorites are Popcorn Popping, Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and I am a Child of God. And we have to sing them in that order, or else. (You know?) I'm hoping to catch him 'helping' me sing on camera one of these days. It's just about the sweetest thing I've ever seen.

Otherwise, this week flew by in a flash. Looking forward to slowing down a bit over the next few days, Dateline tonight, snuggling with my eternal boyfriend, and maybe a Farr's ice cream cone. Or two.

Have yourself a happy weekend.

Xo.
