{looking for squirrels}
Yesterday, we took Belly dog to Idaho Falls for a weekend rendezvous with her new boyfriend. Hopefully she will come back with little yellow babies in her tummy. If she does, we will be delivering at about the same time, come June.
Mr. Keller commented that it was too bad I wasn't going for a home birth. He could coach us both at the same time. Maybe next time around.
(On real delivery: I'm getting butterflies!)
Today, I think it's spring. The windows are open and I'm ecstatic to announce I've spotted tiny green leaves sprouting from the vines on my honeysuckle in the backyard. I think I've taken about one thousand and one deep breaths today, whispering 'thank you'. It's sunny, and (almost) April. And (I think) we've made it through.
It feels that way.
This weekend, I'm looking forward to:
A date overnighter, general conference, pie and ice cream at Perkins, my mom (and dad!) coming to visit, and finding some maternity sweat pants. (These elastic, pre-pregnancy pants are sure to be the death of me, if they aren't replaced soon!)
Over and out,
hrk.
PS - Guess who said 'come out baby' when we were taking a bubble bath together the other day?! It was pretty close to being the cutest thing I've heard in a while.
