Well, we've been home for five days now. This home sweet home that I love. Monday, I carried the tree out myself and made a huge mess, which led to Morgan running around saying 'Oh sit', or something like that. (He doesn't like messes!)

All of Christmas is put away and I've made a loaf of honey whole wheat bread and whole wheat pizza crust in my new breadmaker, which turned out pretty decent. (Back on the no-sugar diet I go!)

Morgan's been watching his new Barney movies, vacuuming and taking lots of baths with his new tub toys. I've been rearranging and wishing it wasn't January. But it is, and I can't wish it away, really, so instead I bought a new apron and a pretty spring painting. I've also cooked dinner every night this week, which has scored me points with the Mister, so I'm hoping he'll swing me over to Senore's tonight for a chips and salsa binge.

Jared and I have been spending our evenings with our new friends Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Charlie, Hurley, John Lock and the rest of the 'Lost' gang. You could say we're addicted. (You should get addicted too.)

Otherwise, all is well and settled. Which is good. It's always nice to go home, but it's good to come home, too.


This week, I napped. Next week, I'm selling shiz and painting.
