Jared just walked in as I was uploading these photos and asked if I was blogging about how he worked himself back into my 'good graces'.
I said 'no'.
I was going to leave that whole story alone, and just say something like this:
Look at these pretty flowers Mr. Keller came home with on Friday evening!
I was going to leave 'good graces' out of it. But now that they have been mentioned, yes, flowers do wonders for retracing steps and for coming back from the dark side. (You all who are married know about the dark side.)
The flowers were the highlight of my Friday. (I really do love that Mr. of mine.) The rest of the weekend, I've spent in my sweats, napping, and sleeping in. It's been nice, except my ribs have been k i l l i n g me. I have a strangely sweet suspicion I know why. Thankfully the tulips smell like heaven, and so do the cheeks of my son, so as to distract me from my state of feminine distress.
The weekend business was as follows: We cooked hamburgers and fries last night and today we had homemade bread and chicken noodle soup. Bella's been good enough to have a few bones. And Morgan's been running around the house naked for most of the day. He's been piling up pillows and diving off the bed. "One. Two. Feeeeeee." he says.
He keeps us laughing. He keeps us feeling sweet and blessed.
Here in my little nest all is really well.
PS - I miss my mom! Pictures of our week to come soon. Also, painting's all done. YES!!!!!!!
