Dear Morgan,
Today I didn't get dressed. We took an afternoon nap and before I knew it we were on the back porch this evening, me laying back in my chair, and you, in your cute birthday suit. We were playing airplane. And you were laughing. And I was laughing, and I was counting my pretty, sweet blessings. (I have many.)
You were the first I counted. And the brightest of them all.
Your face is the purest I've ever seen. And as I held you high above me, your eyes matched the sky.
The thought that we grew you from our own selves takes my breath away. And deep inside my heart is this love that is boundless. And entirely for you.
Love, for always,
Mommy
PS - In case you should forget, I'll remember our evening like this:
