a visit from TK

well folks, if you were sincerely worried about the state of sickness my husband was in over the weekend, worry no more. after a few intense days of doing nothing but eating junk food, watching TruTv and comedy central, and {nearly} ruining our exciting plans for our rare three-day weekend, i am thankful to announce that he is feeling much better.

last night at approximately 6:32pm, he came into our bedroom where Morgan and I were laying on the bed. he came in with speckles of white shaving cream all over his face, AND A FREAKING HANDLEBAR MUSTACHE!

now, friends, my husband is a man. he can grow a five o'clock shadow by 11:00am. and i'm serious. so, being that his razor had had nearly a four-day vacation, you can imagine the damage! what's that? you say you can't imagine it?

okay - here - let me show you.

{i do have other pictures, but i feel i would be compromising my integrity too much, as i swore on my life and the life of my blog that they would never ever see front and center blog time.}

he tried hard to keep a straight face, but we were a mess the rest of the night. especially when he put on his flannel pajama pants and camo hat and called me his "little lady". then he started playing "i should have been a cowboy" by TK and we sang it at the top of our lungs until we couldn't anymore. and he pretended to be TK all night long until I said, "okay, well then I guess you love--love George W."

his reply: oh hell no. (i knew that would get him).
and then, like that, it was over. well, at least the singing and the TK thing. but he wore the hat and pants the rest of the night and kept the 'stache until this morning. and he woke all healed and unsick.

so, yes, in case there were any questions, health, in all her glory, has surely revisited us once more. and if the sickies ever visit your husband and he gets the junk-foodies and the lazies right along with the sickies - give the old handlebar mustache trick a try. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
