Random thoughts on a sleepy tuesday afternoon

Morgan woke up at 6:00am. And on days when Morgan wakes up at 6:00am, his mommy is nearly no good until bedtime.

Today, I'm lacking energy in a big, big way.

This morning we went grocery shopping and the nicest man at walmart showed me right where the purple onions were and told me that if there weren't any out on the shelf to my "liking" (his words), then he could go in the back and bring more out. That so made my day.

I'm really tired. Dang.

Wish I was napping like my little boy. Dang.

Had to lower the crib to the lowest notch after discovering that he is capable of this little number:

I'm trying this recipe tonight - thanks to Mrs. Julie Hyatt Vasquez. It looks scrumptious! So do the peppers I purchased earlier too.

And the cherries...delightful. And on sale at walmart $0.98 lb. Sweet mother!!!!!!

Got the old "oh, are you expecting again?" question this last weekend from our borderline-crazy neighbor lady (the one who thinks our dog's name is Cleo even though we've told her a million times that it's not). When I came inside the house in tears, Jared said "oh, who cares, you know she's crazy anyway".

What he should have said - what I told myself - {stop making chocolate cake every weekend and maybe you'd look different}.

I made sprinkle cake this weekend.

And no, I'm not pregnant. Boy, would that be a surprise, or what.

I mean really.

Anyone else tired of Michael Jackson being on tv?

Going to go watch tv (because I'm TIRED), while I fold a million batches of clothes...and wait for prince charming to wake from his slumber...so long.
