I am forever-and-always famous for switching out furniture and home decor items. Every now and then, there is a piece that I absolutely must hang onto, but usually I get itchy for change and am always swapping things out for something different (I'm an avid Craigslist girl). Since we're not millionaires, I have to find ways around just running out and buying things new. Most of the time, this works out well because I love searching for that perfect deal whether it's at garage sales, thrift stores (I love D.I.), Ross, TJs, wherever. Best of all, it helps me be creative, something I thrive on. If you have time, this is a wonderfully uplifting thought on creativity:
hereThe most recent finished project is this dresser I picked up at D.I.
Dresser: $45
Hardware: $17
Stain Stripper: $8
Stain: $5
Hours spent: maybe eight???

And
tada!
Nie Nie says: "People always say that they want to buy new furniture, but I've never felt that way. I love when things have stories behind them."
Now, onto the next project!
Impressive Hollie Good for you. I know I have a few dressers that need some love.I just can't get the drive for it.
