We had to call the Cable One guy to come fixed chewed cables, once again, for the third time in four months. And it’s the same darn guy that comes every time. As much as he is sick of coming, I am tired of making excuses for our terror-of-a-pet. And every time he comes, he tells me how he’s never seen such a misbehaved dog.
Obviously, he’s never had a lab.
On a better note, I repainted the bench in our kitchen and found a cute chair pad and pillows for it. Yay TJ Maxx and Ross.
Sportsman’s Warehouse announced its store closure here in Pocatello. Really, we’re genuinely saddened by this, but I told Jared that we would HAVE to move if Ross ever closed their store here. I’m completely serious about this.
{Our Triumphs}
--Morgan can now roll over from his cute little belly, to his back, and when he’s on his tummy he lifts his head up so high he’s nearly in the crawling stance! The boy is so strong.
--Yesterday morning I woke up to him lifting his head above the side of our co-sleeper, watching me sleep. When I opened my eyes he gave me the biggest smile. Is there some way to bottle these moments and keep them suspended in memory forever? Is there anything more precious? I hope I never forget.
--He’s also started throwing small fits by flinging himself backward when I hold him. Perhaps one day I may find this trying, but for now I think it’s hilarious.
--We fed him rice cereal for the first time this week!!! He loved it. Since the
--He’s discovered his voice can squeal and practices this often. In church on Sunday we had to take him out a few times because of how loud he was. Not because he was crying, mind you, just squealing.
--Last night he slept 11 hours, but the night before he slept 6 ½ hours. And I will probably feel excellent all day today, but I felt terrible yesterday. Oh, how I wish there was an in-between for this boy.
We continue to wait for more news on Lissie and baby Landon. I remember back to a few months ago, being in the same spot she is now and telling myself “he can’t stay in there forever”. And it’s true.
My dear little sister’s belly continues to burst with life and we can’t wait until Landon arrives. We can hardly believe that by June, Morgan will have three little boy cousins!!!! We're very excited for the Pratts, the Frischknechts and the Coles, and look forward to them adjusting to first-time parenthood along with us!!! What a ride!
I love your updates Hollie! You are such a good writer and I enjoy reading your blog! You guys are so cute!
