in case you were wondering...

i was half asleep all of today. so sleepy, i tell you what. perhaps it's the weather? while the sun shone down, you would have found me lying on the front room floor next to Morgan as he played with his new green truck we bought for him two days ago because, that day (and all days), he was "such a good boy".

i swept the kitchen floor, made the bed and bought a lovely brown taffeta dress from TJ's.

oh, and did i mention i laid on the floor and i watched Morgan p l a y and crawl and make the rounds down the hall a trillion times?

daddy finally came home and i collapsed my tired body in his arms and then we headed to Senore's for some lovely mexican cuisine.

over dinner, our topic drifted to the latest town scandel on how the Senore/owner got himself busted last weekend at the Lazy Lizard (which he also owns) for possession of some illegal substance(s) of sorts. that's just the word, you know. so, who really knows.

all i really know is that i told jared that that must have been why the salsa there was sooooooooo addicting. and we agreed that tonight, it just wasn't the same.

shucks.

we came home. splashed in the tub. then played "where's morgan?" with his very favorite blankie until his hair laid so flat on his head he looked like mister collins.

(we called him mister collins for the rest of the evening).

and now, my friends, my mister darcy (of sorts) is nestled, with our child, in our little bed, and it is yet to be 10:30pm. they are waiting for me, to snuggle me tight and

right

now,

i'm headed their way.
